Graduation ceremony

Graduation ceremony took place on 14th of December 2012.The ceremony was attended by the graduates of the Faculty of Economics master studies, in the academic year 2011/2012, in such specializations as:

Electronic Business
Economic Assessment and Functioning of Enterprises
Human Resources Management
International Maritime Transport and Trade
Economic Policy and Entrepreneurial Strategy
Enterprise on the Global Market
Maritime Transport and Trade
Transport and Logistics

At the beginning of the ceremony „Gaudeamus Igitur” and National Anthem of Poland were performed. The Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Professor Krzysztof Dobrowolski, welcomed the Pro-rector for Student Affairs at the University of Gdańsk, Professor Józef Włodarski, the Faculty Authorities, academic professors, supervisors, employees of secretariats and Dean’s offices, invited quests and above all the GRADUATES WHO ATTENDED THE CEREMONY.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics asked the Pro-rector, Professor Józef Włodarski, to take the floor.

The Rector congratulated all the graduates on successful completion of their studies, wishing all the success in their future endeavors.

Then, the Host of the ceremony, Professor Krzysztof Dobrowolski, delivered his speech. He congratulated all the graduates and thanked everyone who contributed to their success. The Dean also invited freshly minted master degree holders to enroll on doctoral studies and encouraged them to acquire more knowledge and earn further academic degrees.

Afterwards, the Rector together with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics have given awards to the best graduates with the highest ranks in their fields and distinctions in the specializations.

First rank and the best graduate of Economic Assessment and Functioning of Enterprises specialization:

Second rank and the best graduate of Transport and Logistics specialization:

The best graduate of International Maritime Transport and Trade specialization:

Special award for the work of the Faculty forum moderator:
Msc Wojciech Cychnerski

Then, the most important and exciting part of the ceremony took place – awarding of the diplomas. The diplomas were awarded by the Rector, the Dean of the Faculty and the Supervisor.

Subsequently, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics thanked all the quests for attending the ceremony and asked everyone to stand for the EUROPEAN ANTHEM.

At the end of the ceremony group photos were made.
